On the occasion of a visit to the M/V MOL-Glide, the test vessel of the B-Zero research project, in the port of Hamburg, we took the opportunity to install a MAIHAK Shaft Power Meter and to commission it using our new mobile Remote Connection Box. Connected to a permanently installed connection box, WIFI access point and PPoE feed, our engineers were able to guarantee full WIFI reception in all areas of the engine room. Due to the high bandwidth, video calls and software updates could be carried out quickly and in good quality. With the knowledge gained, we will be able to offer our customers further solutions in the future that make the maintenance of their ships independent of travel restrictions and offer the services of our service technicians anywhere and at any time in the best quality.
