Hoppe Bordmesstechnik founded by engineer Hans Hoppe.
Helmut Rohde took over the management.
The first Hoppe Anti-Heeling System was developed and delivered.
Establishment of Hoppe Korea in Busan.
The Rohde family took over Hoppe completely.
Establishment of affiliate Meramont Automatyka in Poland. The first Hoppe passive U-Tank Stabilization System was developed and delivered.
The first Hoppe Blower Anti-Heeling System was developed and delivered. Introduction of Marc Rohde as Managing Director.
Acquisition of acoustic shaft power meter technology of Maihak.
Establishment of Hoppe China in Shanghai. Acquisition of US company FLUME® Stabilization Systems.

So, it may not come as a surprise that there is a steady exchange between our engineers and technicians, external partners and customers in our HOLAB – a specially created room to create real innovations in a relaxed atmosphere. We cordially invite you to participate too.
In 2019, we started to remodel our offices to provide an open working environment – more conducive to creative work with a focus on our customers. Our success proves the point that sometimes even a game of table soccer can boost the creative process.
As part of our innovation process, the best ideas of each quarter of a year enter the next phase – the HOLAB Cycle – where we evaluate innovative ideas from various perspectives. Building innovations by complementing state-of-the-art technologies with a trend- and foresight management helps us be prepared at Hoppe Marine. Whether upcoming rules or regulations, 3D or maritime IoT or the energy transition, we’re keeping a watchful eye on it.
As simulations and model based system engineering are increasingly becoming part of maritime suppliers’ daily routine, we created tools to test and improve our systems with InTheLoop-Simulations. Combined with 3D modelling and embedded life data analysis, we not only embrace the digital twin approach, we live it every day.
The mixture of experience, enthusiasm, curiosity and also fun with colleagues is an essential component of the team spirit we have at Hoppe.
Whether it’s a joint service mission, the workshop for the development of a new product or simply the normal working day, the focus is always on good cooperation with colleagues.
Besides focusing on the daily tasks, a good conversation over a cup of coffee or a quick game of table tennis or darts is also part of a good working day.
