About the role

• Development, maintenance, and operation of our AWS Cloud backend for the collection and analysis of IoT measurement data from sea-going vessels like container ships, bulk carriers, or tankers
• Development and maintenance of current onboard solutions like our existing ship-to-shore software package
• Support, design and implementation of new onboard solutions for improved data collection
• Operational and administrative work, including technical support for service technicians, project management and customers
• Troubleshooting in case of operational issues

• Relevant university degree in computer engineering, physics or a related field and/or profound professional experience 
• Experience or high interest in Cloud technologies like AWS
• Good programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python
• Strong analytical and pragmatic mindset
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Customer-centric and quality-conscious way of working
• Fluent in English, optionally some knowledge in German
